If you click on the text tool, then click on the canvas, it doesn't seem like you can change the text box. However, if you click the text tool, then draw a text box on the canvas, you can resize/edit.

how do you change the size of the text box?
This great tool is missing tutorials on the 20 most basic functions, makes it impossible for me to recommend to others yet.

Sorry for the late reply, but you need to use the magic wand to select the white background, then just delete it. When you export it to web, just make sure the "transparency" box is checked.

Ok. I have an other question.. I already had a logo and I just needed to make some changes. I did all changes needed on the project, but when I export the logo I still have a white background. So my question is how to I export with out the white background. I want to use just the logo.

I've been using this software for some time but I still can't figure this out..

My officemate and I were discussing how we both subscribe to Netflix's DVD plans, we both are lazy about watching DVDs and let them sit around for weeks, and yet we both happily paid the monthly service and recommended Netflix to others. Not getting your money's worth but liking it anyway is pretty amazing.

What's even more amazing is how Netflix completely threw all of that out the window and made everyone re-evaluate the cost/benefit.

i had just asked about this a couple of days ago in the Mac Community and voila! this is wonderful, thank you so much...the person who recommended Pixelmator told me that Pixelmator was what i was looking for....and....it is. Thanks so much for putting this together and letting us know how easily it can be done....I AM SOLD!

The new version calls Rasterizing ' Convert into Pixels'.

Go to LAYERS > Convert Into Pixels on STEP 2.

You might have done this deliberately but its supposed to be a P not a Q! What you have written is Skyqe instead of Skype. But never mind nice tutorial thanks not easy using an Application with no vector tool! Anyways as I said thanks.

nice tutorial, although making a border around anything other than text based on skype (like french) is extremely hard!
instead i just used the skype border (cloning over the text)
